CMS User Procedure

CMS User Procedure imageIf you elect to have us setup access to your website content, welcome to the world of Content Management!

There are two main types of user access to a CMS site - Front End and Back End. Front End Access allows the user to create changes to the existing content of the site just as you see it in your browser, using a fairly standard editor. Depending on the level of Front End Access granted, the user can add, delete or edit content on existing pages, and some user levels can create new content and publish it to the website.

Back End Access allows the user to get into the structure of the website, including complete Front End Access. Depending on the level of Back End Access, the user can change the configuration of the site, create and edit menus, edit templates and create new users.

We'll explore the features of each level of Front End Access in the pages to come. No matter which level you are granted, you can always have us make site updates if you don't have time or just don't want to attempt a certain task.
