We'll confirm the account name (like This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) you requested, along with a valid password. That's all you need to setup your new account. Just follow this simple procedure for a typical Mac Mail installation.

1) After launching Mail, select Mail and then Preferences

2) You’ll see the General Preferences frame. Click on Accounts

3) To create a new account, click on the + box at the lower left corner

4) Enter the name you'd like to appear on outgoing email in the Full Name field. Enter your complete email address (all lower case) and password (case sensitive), then click Continue

5) Select IMAP on the Account Type field. Enter your account description, then mail.yourdomainname.com on the Incoming Mail Server field, then click Continue

6) Enter your account description, then mail.yourdomainname.com on the Incoming Mail Server field. Check the Use Authentication box, then click Continue

7) You’ll see the Account Summary frame. If everything looks OK, click Create

8) You’ll see the account frame with all the fields completed. You can select the Mailbox Behaviors tab to customize your account if you’d like. Enjoy your new email account!
